It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Caldecote Church of England Academy on behalf of the Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust, the dedicated staff, governors, children and parents.  I hope that you find the information on our website helpful.

It is a genuine privilege to serve as the Headteacher of this friendly, happy and lively school where we value children as individuals.  We believe that a child’s education is a partnership between home and school and welcome families' support and involvement.

We educate the whole child by encouraging creative minds, fostering social skills and developing an understanding of the needs of other people.  It is our aim that every child can achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, personal, social, moral and spiritual development through our rich and broad curriculum, our Values Education and our core belief in developing a growth mind set. We feel that children must learn these crucial skills in preparation for the next stage in their educational journey and later life.
